How to choose a staff
The wooden staff is not included because it is easy to find but difficult to ship. Here are our tips for purchase.
Diameter: between 28mm and 30mm (maybe be thicker on the end for better fitting)
Length: 1,5m max for a one handed spear and between 2m and 2,5m for a two handed spear
Shape : Round or octogonal for better handling
Where to find it : Curtain rods are good choice. The diameter is usually 28mm and various lengths are available. Rake's handle are nice too, easy to find and cheap but be careful not to take too fragile wood.
In all cases we recommend that you cover the handle wide tape to prevent splinters.
